V2210 Series Matrix Switcher Video Management Software

The V2210 is a video management software package for controlling a complete CCTV system. The V2210 controls Infinova matrix switchers and DVR directly over Local Area Networks (LAN) via the PC’s Ethernet connection; controls alarm interfaces and multiplexers via RS-232 serial ports. The V2210 allows an entire CCTV system to be controlled from a single PC platform.

Username and password login screens are provided for a maximum level of security. No unauthorized user can access the V2210 system. The login feature also ensures that users can only operate the system at his/her own authorized level of administration. When operating on a PC with a video-card, the system supports real-time on-screen video display, complete with an on-screen simulated V2117 keyboard to control switching and PTZ functions. In addition, V2210 features a built-in module that provides simple point/click operation of Infinova multiplexers. A bitmap uploading platform for system/facility layouts and drag/drop icons representing equipment locations are provided by V2210 mapping feature.

The system will directly import graphic files from most drawing packages. Supported file formats include many popular formats, such as JPG and BMP. This feature permits the installer to directly use the pre-existing site map without redrawing the files.
