Infinova, a leading manufacturer of CCTV, Fiber Optics, Access Control and Integration Software products, has introduced pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) dome cameras that feature a built-in video server. The NetDome cameras are a part of Infinova's InfiNetT Series of IP and Ethernet capable products that also includes video matrix switchers.

Available in high resolution color with 22X optical zoom or Day/Night high resolution color with 23X optical zoom, NetDome cameras can be viewed and PTZ controlled from anywhere in the world via the Internet using a standard web browser. Both versions are available in indoor and environmentally protected outdoor versions. They feature MPEG-4 compression for optimum picture quality and transmission speed. A decoder is also available for connecting NetDome cameras to an analog video system.

Like Infinova's standard line of PTZ dome cameras, NetDome cameras feature easily removable camera heads and wide protocol compatibility.

NetDome cameras can provide substantial cost savings in virtually any commercial or industrial installation, public or private, by taking advantage of network wiring and eliminating separate monitors and keyboard controllers when adding users. Remote access, which is password protected, provides exceptional viewing flexibility and convenience.
